Help with Vehicular

Frequently asked questions

Answers about your account, vehicle records, reminders, and sharing.

Getting started and accounts

How do I add my vehicle?

Create an account and confirm your email. Then sign in and add your vehicle. You can start saving mileage, maintenance, repairs, and other records.

What does “Email confirmed” mean?

It means you used the code sent to your email. It does not prove your identity or vehicle ownership. It does not mean the vehicle or its records have been checked.

I cannot sign in. What can I do?

Forgot your password? Request a password reset.

Still need to confirm your email? Enter your email code. If the code does not work, request a new code. Check your spam folder if the email has not arrived.

Private records and fixing mistakes

Who can see my records and files?

Your records and files start private. They are not shared just because you add them. If you turn on Sale Mode, the report shows basic vehicle details, ownership dates, and the records you choose.

How do I fix a mistake?

Choose your vehicle in My vehicles. Open the history record and choose Correct event. For a mileage reading added on its own, choose Correct. For mileage saved with a history record, correct that record. Old versions stay saved.

To fix a plate, VIN/chassis, or engine number, choose Request correction on the vehicle page. These changes need review first.

Does Vehicular check if my records are true?

No. Owners enter the records themselves. Saving records and keeping old versions does not prove that the details are correct.

Sharing reports with Sale Mode

What is Sale Mode?

Sale Mode lets you share a report about your vehicle. You choose which records, mileage readings, and files to include. Anyone with the link can open the report while sharing is on.

The report leaves out your account email, plate, VIN/chassis, engine number, private notes, and costs. Check shared files separately for these details.

How do I share a report?

Open your vehicle and choose Sale Mode. Choose your records and files. To share a file, also choose its history record. Choose Save choices. Check Buyer preview, then choose Turn on report. You can now share the buyer link.

Should I check a file before sharing it?

Yes. Read each file or photo first. Share a copy with names, addresses, plates, and other private details removed. The app does not cover up details shown inside a file. If you replace a shared file, you must choose it again before it can be shared.

Does a report prove the vehicle is in good condition?

No. Owners choose which records to share. It may be missing records. A missing record does not mean an accident or repair never happened. The report is not a vehicle inspection or proof that the vehicle is safe.

How do I stop sharing?

In Sale Mode, choose Pause report or End report. This blocks the report link and any saved report links. Saved reports are copies kept in Vehicular. You can also make each saved report private.

You can resume a paused report. Check which saved reports are public before you do. An ended report cannot be turned on again.

Stopping sharing cannot remove copies that people already downloaded or saved elsewhere.

Free logbook and history sharing

What stays free?

Private history, mileage, receipt uploads, simple reminders and transfer stay free, subject to existing technical limits. No subscription is required to keep your logbook.

What does history sharing cost?

The planned vehicle history sharing plan is PHP 499, one time, for one vehicle. No monthly fee. Sharing stays unlocked while your account owns the vehicle; the plan does not transfer to the next owner.

A qualifying confirmed purchase also includes standard listing eligibility for that same still-current ownership. Publication is a separate choice when the marketplace opens.

Plan purchases are not open yet. When purchases open, confirmed PayMongo payment will unlock sharing automatically. Paying will not publish private records: you choose what to share.

Records remain owner-entered. A payment does not buy vehicle or document authentication, an inspection, a legal ownership check, or a guarantee of condition or complete history.

See pricing and current availability.

Reminders

How do reminders work?

Open your vehicle and choose Reminders. Set a date or a mileage target. Mileage reminders use the readings you enter, so keep them updated. You can edit, pause, or complete a reminder.

Will I get a reminder email?

Turn on Email and dashboard alerts for that reminder. When it is due, an email can be sent to your confirmed email address. You can also check Reminders in your vehicle. Emails may arrive late.

In Account, choose Change reminder emails to pause or enable reminder emails for all your vehicles. Pausing keeps your reminders and their due states in My vehicles. At the next scheduled check, emails can resume for due reminders still waiting for an email. Previously sent emails are not repeated just because you resume. An email already being sent may finish before your pause saves. Verification, password recovery, security, and transfer emails continue.

Marking a reminder complete does not add a service record. Add the work to your history too.

Transfer to a new owner

How do I invite the new owner?

Open your vehicle and choose Transfer invitations. Send an invitation to the new owner’s email address. They need an account with that email address and must confirm their email. They then sign in, enter the invitation code, review the details, and accept.

What happens after they accept?

They can now manage the vehicle record, and you can no longer edit it. The saved vehicle history goes with the vehicle. Your account details, reminders, uploaded files, and report drafts are not given to them.

Old sharing links stop working. The new owner chooses what to share. This only changes who manages the record in Vehicular. It does not change or prove legal ownership.

Can I cancel an invitation?

Yes, before the new owner accepts. Open Transfer invitations and cancel it. A cancelled or expired invitation cannot be used.

Member car marketplace · Coming soon

Who will be able to browse cars for sale?

The marketplace is coming soon. Sign in to view listings when it opens. Buyers will not need a seller plan. No member listings are available to browse today.

Membership will not open private garages or add records and files to a shared history report. Owners choose what to publish. Members can still copy or redistribute content they have received.

See marketplace availability.

Does PHP 499 include publishing my car for sale?

A qualifying confirmed PHP 499 sharing purchase includes standard listing eligibility for the exact still-current ownership it was bought for. Earlier qualifying confirmed purchases for that same ownership also count. No additional standard listing fee.

Keeping a private logbook is free. Plan purchases and marketplace publication are not open yet. When publication opens, review your saved listing and explicitly choose to publish. Payment never publishes a listing or private records. Eligibility does not transfer to a new ownership.

What will a Featured Listing do?

Username reservations

What is a username for?

It is an optional private account label. It does not create a public profile or garage, replace email sign-in, or appear in buyer reports. You can keep using your account without one.

Does requesting a name reserve it?

No. Only successful email-code verification while reservations are open reserves a name. The first successful verification wins. Check the current reservation phase and supported format. Account creation does not give priority.

When can I claim it?

When claiming opens, use Account → Username. An unbound reservation needs its saved recovery secret, a fresh claim code and a verified account with the original email. An attached reservation uses your current verified account. Your private receipt shows any claim deadline; there is no countdown before opening and no promised launch date.

What if the email is late or my code does not work?

Check spam, then enter the full reservation code. Codes expire one hour after the request. Repeating a live request keeps the original code without sending another email. After expiry, request fresh instructions; delivery limits may require waiting until tomorrow. An unavailable name or changed phase can prevent reservation even with a valid code.

How do I check or cancel a reservation?

Manage an unbound reservation with the original mailbox, saved secret and a fresh code. This remains available during a pause. Save the secret when verification succeeds; email alone cannot recover a lost secret or lost confirmation response. Attached reservations are managed in Account → Username. Cancellation gives up the name. Previously claimed names cannot be reassigned during beta, and routine renaming is unavailable.

What does the optional share card reveal?

You choose whether to copy, download or share the displayed username and campaign wording. The card leaves out your email, recovery secret, account and vehicle details. It does not publish a profile or prove vehicle quality. Do not share a screenshot of your private receipt. Saved copies cannot be recalled and do not guarantee permanent ownership of a name.
