Terms of Service

Review draft — not in effect

This draft needs the service operator’s review and approval. No effective date has been set. Reading this page does not record your agreement to these proposed terms.

See the details still awaiting review.

What the service does

Vehicular lets owners keep a vehicle record, add history and mileage, save supporting files, set reminders, share selected reports, and transfer management of the record to another account.

The free logbook records information entered by owners. It does not independently check its accuracy, verify vehicle safety, or establish a complete vehicle history. A report is not a vehicle inspection. A missing record does not mean an accident, repair, or other event never happened.

Your account

You create an account with an email address and password. You must confirm your email before managing vehicle records. Email confirmation shows that you used a code sent to that address; it does not prove your identity or legal ownership of a vehicle.

Account names are optional and are not included in buyer reports. If you cannot sign in, you can request a password reset.

Reminders use dates and mileage readings you enter. Reminder emails may arrive late. Completing a reminder does not add a service record to the vehicle’s history.

Records and files

Records and uploaded files start private. Adding them does not automatically publish them. Corrections to history and mileage keep earlier versions saved, so changes can be traced. Vehicle identity corrections need review.

Saving a file does not verify the work or events it describes. The service checks uploads for supported file types and limits, but those checks do not establish that the contents are true.

Public reports and sharing

Sale Mode lets you choose which history records, mileage readings, and files to share. A public report also shows basic vehicle details and ownership dates. Anyone with its link can read it while sharing is on. Owner selections can leave gaps, so the report may not show all events.

Report fields leave out account names and email, plate, VIN/chassis and engine numbers, private notes, and costs. Details inside a selected file are not automatically covered up. Review every file and use a copy with private details removed before sharing it. Replacing a shared file requires choosing it again before the new contents can be shared.

Saved reports preserve the information selected when they were created. Pausing or ending Sale Mode blocks the live report link and its saved report links. Stopping sharing cannot remove copies people have already downloaded or saved elsewhere.

Transfer to another owner

A transfer invitation lets the intended recipient review and accept management of a vehicle record using an account with the invited, confirmed email address. You can cancel an invitation before it is accepted.

After acceptance, the new account can manage the vehicle record and the previous account can no longer edit it. Saved vehicle history goes with the vehicle. The previous owner’s account details, reminders, uploaded files, and report drafts are not given to the new owner. Old sharing links stop working.

This transfer changes who manages the record in Vehicular. It does not change or prove legal ownership of the vehicle.

Proposed responsibilities and use rules

These proposed rules need the service operator’s approval:

  • Keep your password and email access protected. Do not use someone else’s account or claim a vehicle record without authority.
  • Enter information honestly and correct mistakes using the available correction tools. Do not fabricate records or present an owner-selected report as independently verified or complete.
  • Only upload or share material you are entitled to use. Review files for other people’s personal details before choosing to share them.
  • Do not try to access private records or files without permission, bypass access controls or request limits, upload malicious files, or disrupt the service.
  • Do not use records, invitations, or reports to impersonate someone, deceive a buyer, or misrepresent a vehicle.

Details awaiting review

The service operator’s legal identity, public contact details, governing law and dispute arrangements, and effective date have not yet been confirmed for these terms.

The planned sharing purchase is PHP 499, one time, for one vehicle while the purchasing account owns it. Plan purchases are not open yet. Final payment, cancellation and refund terms still need review and approval before opening. Warranties, liability, content licensing, suspension or termination, record retention, and changes to the terms also need explicit review. This draft does not set those remaining policies.

The product descriptions and proposed use rules above still need final wording approval. Until then, this page remains a review draft and is not effective Terms of Service.
